The problem of child undernutrition and malnutitrion is an urgent one to address in India. Rajasthan alone sees stunting of 36.5% and wasting of 14.2% of its children (under the age group of 5 years). We, at Barefoot College Tilonia, believe in the promise of social entrepreneurship and traditional knowledge to address rural health and nutrition needs - with Super 5. Before the pandemic, the Super 5 supplement was provided to children in government schools, private schools, our night schools and the Bridge school in Singla. These supplements were also a part of the Covid-relief kits distributed last year.
